The Indigenous People of Ambazonia (IPOA) is a grassroots movement dedicated to representing the interests of the indigenous communities within the territory referred to as the Republic of Ambazonia. Currently, the area is administered by La République du Cameroun, which asserts that it is part of the western region of Cameroon. The mission of the IPOA and its Governing Council (IPOA-GovC) is centered on advocating for the rights, cultural heritage, and self-determination of the Ambazonian people.
